Eng. Nezar Hussain Banabeela

Eng. Nezar H. Banabeela is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and information technology sectors. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mobily, leading the company’s strategic growth, digital transformation, and operational excellence. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Eng. Banabeela held several senior leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of stc Bahrain and President of Bahri Dry Bulk at the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri). He also served in various executive roles at Mobily and Saudi Telecom Company (stc), where he led major business, technology, and transformation initiatives across the region. Eng. Banabeela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Umm Al-Qura University and has completed executive leadership programs at Harvard Business School, London Business School, and other internationally recognized institutions.
